Welcome to the website for the Dan River Emmaus Community, serving South-Central Virginia and the Piedmont of North Carolina since 1998.
Dan River Emmaus is one of numerous organizations worldwide conducting a spiritual renewal program called the "Walk to Emmaus" developed by Upper Room Ministries [website], a division of the General Board of Discipleship of The United Methodist Church.
Though a product of the United Methodist Church, the Walk to Emmaus is ecumenical and is open to members of all denominations who wish to grow in their spiritual journey with Christ.
